FCCSP combines the discipline of Sports Medicine together with Chiropractic in order to bring strength training and physical medicine into patient centered treatment plans.  Non-force treatment alternatives are also available, including Decompression therapy for disc herniation, joint and soft tissue mobilization, and the use of the Webster Technique in order to address pregnancy issues for women.

FCCSP is a facility equiped to care for the whole patient, not just their symptoms.  We utilize sports therapies and modalities in addition to standards of care for Chiropractic procedures.  The following are available for patient care...

  • Board Licensed Doctors of Chiropractic.

  • Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Techniques.

  • Heat-ice, Ultrasound and Electrical Stimulation.

  • Supervised Exercise, Stretching and Strength Training Routines.

  • SportsMedicine Assessment and Rehabilitation.

  • Athletic Taping, Bracing, and Custom Foot Orthotics.

  • Computerized Decompression Therapy.

  • X-rays available on-site.

Professional Massage Therapy

Addressing muscles, tendons, and fascia with massage therapy is an essential part of patient care.  Our therapists utilize deep-tissue techniques that are helpful in reducing swelling and pain in areas that are acutely injured.

At times, an injury may need to utilize massage therapy instead of using therapeutic exercises or manipulative therapies due to pain and inflammation, or when there are severe restrictions in range of motion.

Sports Therapy and Modalities

Therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and athletic taping is also applies as clinically indicated on a regular basis.  Therapies such as theese are used as an adjunct in order to prepare patients for a more effective and gentle Chiropractic treatment that lasts.

The addition of sports therapies in treatment sessions are ideal for addressing muscle and soft tissue layers that are injured.  These therapies are ideal when treating extremities such as ankles, hips, shoulders and elbows.

Strength, Conditioning and Corrective Exercises

Another component of FCCSP's treatments is the strength and conditioning that takes place concurrently with Chiropractic care.  By developing strength, stamina, and muscular balance through therapeutic exercises, patients can achieve wellness outside of the clinic.

Patients requiring more attention to strength training and conditioning have the option of utilizing the FCCSTRENGTH program for something much more challenging.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is done by Anjna Bhagvanjee, a licensed acupuncturist of 7 years in private practice.  She combines her traditional treatments of acupuncture along with the use of herbal supplements, moxibustion and cupping.

Acupuncture hours are 2pm - 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, by appointment only.

Chiropractic, Manual Therapies, and Non-Force Techniques

We believe that any manual therapy and Chiropractic technique must be accomodating to the patient's condition, and not just used despite their condition.  In other words, we will provide options that serves in the best interest of a patient's healing potential during various stages of injury and recovery.

Our doctors and staff collectively hold various credentials (EMT, Athletic Training, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Acupuncture, Massage Therapist, Webster Technique) that creates options and awareness for the types of conditions that are being treated at FCCSP.
